How YOU can help Close the Harrisburg Incinerator

Once the city borrows $125 million to rebuild the incinerator, it won't close until we go bankrupt. We need to act NOW and SPEAK UP before that decision is made. Here's what we can do NOW:

Schedule

1st Tuesday, 6 pmNon-legislative Session
2nd Tuesday, 6 pmLegislative Session (Pre-legislative Caucus at 5:30)

4th Tuesday, 6 pmLegislative Session (Pre-legislative Caucus at 5:30)

City Council meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays in Legislative Sessions in which they can vote on items for final passage. These sessions are generally taped to be aired on the local access channel, which I think is still channel 8 in Harrisburg. Those meetings begin at 6 p.m. with a Pre-legislative Caucus beginning at 5:30 in the room to the side of City Council Chambers.

Council also meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 6 p.m. in Non-legislative Sessions.
